What to do When your Golf Swing Leaves you Mid Round

What do you do when your swing leaves you on the course?

We all have rounds where the ball just doesn't behave for us. That's part of golf.

But most golfers don't handle this situation all that well.

Most golfers see a few balls go wayward, and start tinkering with just about anything they possibly can, resulting in even funnier looking shots.

The best thing to do in this situation?

I'm not going to sit here and say that you should play whatever shot you are hitting that day, because sometimes, that shot isn't even manageable.

When I'm in this situation, my goal is to reach into my memory of things that have worked for me in the past, and start trying them out (different swing thoughts) on each shot. Once I find one that produces at least a playable ball-flight, I stick with it for the rest of the round.

If you have the SAME swing thought/key on every single shot, you will most likely start to see a pattern in ball-flights.

And seeing a pattern is all that you are looking for when the ball isn't going in the intended direction.
